Dear Dr. Tooma & Staff,

Two months ago, I received CustomLASIK with Intralase,and I can honestly say I have never been happier in my life!

I began wearing glasses in the third grade. While I enjoyed stylish fashion choices in glasses over the years, it wasn't until I removed them, that I discovered the most stylish choice of all was my eyes alone. Even my "Kevin & Bean" and KROQ family, whom I have known for over six years, commented they were seeing my face for the first time.

It's the accumulation of everyday conveniences of CustomLASIK you notice first. The subtle ways your life is made dramatically more convenient either while driving, working out, shopping or reading/watching television.

My vision is now better than 20/20; it's actually 20/15.

The greatest comfort is my entire surgery and recovery process happened exactly as I hoped it would. No complications, no surprises, only a textbook outcome. Not to mention, I was given the office teddy bear to hold during my entire surgery. No patient detail or creature comfort too small!

Dear Dr. Tooma and Staff,

I'm writing to thank you for the wonderful experience I had at TLC, and more importantly, the excellent results of my Custom Lasik Surgery.

I started wearing reading glasses about 6 years ago and I'd noticed in the past couple of years that I was having to wear my glasses more and more - to do my laundry, open my mail, use my remote control. In other words, I was a year or two away from having to wear glasses all the time. Luckily for me, I found TLC. The first thing I did after my surgery? Throw away my glasses.

I was very impressed with the personal care I received at TLC and was surprised and pleased that the procedure and recovery were so quick and painless.

I can't tell you how great it is to be able to pick up a magazine, newspaper or menu and start reading without a second thought. My only regret is that I didn't do this earlier!

When I first came to see you, more than six years ago, I was a little known professional golfer. At the time, I believed that Lasik surgery was one of the ways in which I could enhance, not only my looks, but also my performance on the golf course. I am happy to say that thanks to you, your skill and the care I received at the TLC Laser Eye Centers, both of those assumptions proved to be correct. As a result of the increased visual acuity achieved through the surgery, my golf game has greatly improved to where, over the past few years, I have been able to finish at the top of my profession on the LPGA Tour. I would just like to let the staff and Dr. Tooma know that my eyes are doing great and wanted to let them know how much they changed my life. Ever since the surgery the freedom that I have not having to put contacts in or wear glasses, has been wonderful.

The surgery was much easier then I had expected, and much quicker then I thought it would be. The process with Dr. Tooma and his staff, made the surgery very easy to get through without any problems or worries from me.

As far as my business goes, being a caddy on the LPGA golf tour, the surgery has been a God send, as far as travel and reading the greens. I just want to thank Dr. Tooma and his staff for taking such great care of me, and changing my life for the better.

DR. TOOMA YOU'RE MY HERO!!!!

I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for this special gift you have given me. I am 20/25 following surgery on Monday, 1/16/06 and my vision is AWESOME! Going from -5.25 to my vision now is mind blowing. I can't even begin to explain how rejuvenating this feels. I never thought in a million years that I could see this well without contacts or glasses. I cant stop smiling...

I was so nervous before my surgery that I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest. Having you talk me through everything and touching my shoulder helped ease my anxiety a lot. I kind of feel like a sissy now for being so nervous, because I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. It was a piece of cake and afterwards at home I had minimal stinging, but the Xanax took care of that.

You're the best and I am convinced that you have magic hands!! I have already told everyone I know that they have to get this done ASAP. I wish I didn't wait so long to get mine done.

I will always hold a special place in my heart for you and the next time I see you I am going to give you a big hug! Thanks again!!!
